Bourke & District Children’s Services (BDCS) is a not-for-profit children's service situated on the banks of the Darling River in Western NSW at Bourke. We run a Childcare Centre, Preschool, Mobile Play Group and Toy Library.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Providing a clean and safe environment.

• Ensuring all areas of the centre are cleaned & maintained to the highest-level including children's classrooms, offices, bathrooms/toilets, outdoor areas, staff rooms, common areas.

• Collecting and removing all rubbish.

• Stocking consumables (toilet paper, hand towels, chemicals etc).

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful in this role you will need:

• To be reliable and punctual, with a high attention to detail.​

• A sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).

• A strong understanding of infection control principles.

• To be able to work effectively with minimal supervision and as a team player.​

• A current NSW Working with Children Check or be eligible to obtain. 

• A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or be willing to obtain. 

• To be an Australian Resident or equivalent or holder of a visa allowing permanent employment in Australia
