ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a rare leadership opportunity where you’ll take the reins to launch and lead a brand-new OSHC service from the ground up. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations, leading your team, and ensuring high-quality education and care aligned with national regulations.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Establishing and launching a brand-new after-school care service

Providing relief support to other services (Preschool, Childcare, Mobile)

Designing and implementing educational programs consistent with NQF, EYLF, and MTOP
-
Leading staff including Diploma-qualified educators and support workers
-
Managing budgets, enrolments, and rostering
-
Ensuring compliance with National Law and Regulations
-
Driving quality improvement and preparing for assessment and rating
-
Building relationships with families, stakeholders, and the community

ABOUT YOU:
To be successful you will need:​​

An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
-
Be eligible for appointment as Nominated Supervisor
-
A minimum of 3-5 years’ leadership experience in early childhood education or a related setting
-
ACECQA-approved First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications
-
Child protection training
-
Strong understanding of CCS, funding requirements, and compliance systems
-
Operational expertise in enrolments, budgeting, and resource allocation
-
Familiarity with WHS and child protection framework​
-
To hold a current class C drivers’ licence
-
A current NSW Working with Children Check or be eligible to obtain
-
A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or be willing to obtain
-
To be an Australian Resident or equivalent or holder of a visa allowing permanent employment in Australia​

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $140,000 to $160,000 (based on skills and experience), plus a comprehensive benefits package, including:
